Spatial Data

Manage map layers and spatial datasets for platform features.

Spatial Data administration manages templates, layers, and geometry-backed datasets used across SOC maps. This area controls map reliability for resident, coordinator, and admin workflows.

Responsibilities

  • maintain spatial feature templates and fields
  • verify map layer quality and visibility
  • review refresh and provenance outcomes where relevant

Operational workflow

  1. Review current layer/template configuration.
  2. Apply required updates.
  3. Validate map rendering on impacted routes.
  4. Confirm no regressions in capture or reporting flows.

Quality checks

  • required template fields are present
  • geometry and styling behavior remains consistent
  • map pages load without missing layer data
